Ian Davies began broadcasting in hospital radio in his home town of Chesterfield during the mid 80s before moving on to FM and AM stations in the north of England.

Ian presents The Rock Block, which he describes as "easy listening rock" if there can be such a thing.
Classics from most rock genres, including soft-rock, prog, punk and glam, plus new music and a special category called "rock which may not even be rock." Everything is radio-friendly; there's no nail-your-head-to-the-floor thrash metal or similar.
Just great music that fans of most genres will enjoy.
